Accusation of a Burmese civilian from Kalagon, where Japanese troops massacred 637 villagers. The July 7, 1945 atrocity by the Japanese Imperial Army Kempeitai, or military police was retaliation for village assistance to Allied special forces in the area. Of the 350 Kempeitai involved, 14 were tried as war criminals at Rangoon, Burma, in March 1946. World War 2. (BSLOC_2014_10_129)
