Mr Lawrence Wong was sworn in as Singapore's fourth prime minister on 15 May, with his predecessor, Mr Lee Hsien Loong appointed as Senior Minister. Senior Minister Lee shaking hands with Prime Minister Wong after receiving his instrument of appointment from President Tharman Shanmugaratnam during the swearing-in ceremony at the Istana.
