Journalists Esra Solin Dal, Mehmet Aslan, Enes Sezgin, Saliha Aras, Yesim Alici, Beste Argat Balci, Sirin Ermis, Dogan Kaynak and Erdogan Alayamut were detained on April 23 for allegedly supporting the Kurdish armed organization Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK).
